National standard "Industrial parks. Requirements", developed by the “Key Partner”, was approved

On December 12 the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart) approved  the national state standard specification P 56301-2014 Russian Federation standard «Industrial parks. Requirements”. The standard was developed by the Key Partner company included into KPI Holding. In addition, all-Russian scientific research institutes of certification with the Association of industrial parks expressing the opinion of the Russian industrial parks branch took part in the development.

 Public discussion of the national standard draft was carried out from July 25 to September 25, 2014. During the discussion, the developers received a number of offers from representatives of industrial parks and branch experts a part of which was considered during completion that allowed to strengthen the practical orientation of document basic provisions.

Application of the standard will allow to set the high level of industrial parks branch functioning in the Russian Federation. The set of practical aspects allowing to improve qualitatively functioning of the branch and to define requirements to the key parameters of the Russian industrial parks activity is reflected in the text of the National standard.

The national standard reflects also the main approaches to the key concepts definition for creation of the general branch terminology, requirements to industrial park infrastructure security, and also to kinds of activity and the main functions of specialized management company of the industrial park.

Introduction of the standard will promote effective work with potential residents, and will also make investments attraction process more transparent and predictable.

Subsequently the compliance to the national standard confirmed by the corresponding certificate will be the quality proof of services rendering by industrial park and the basis for the state support receiving.

The national standard will come into force on September 1, 2015.
