«Year of Tourism in the CIS» forum took place in Tomsk city

On November 20-22 "Year of tourism in the CIS. Commonwealth of the countries and people: heritage, events, education and technologies" forum with international participants took place in Tomsk. Representatives of the tourist industry of Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Armenia, Tadzhikistan, Azerbaidzhan, Russian regions, Federal Tourism Agency and other federal departments made reports at the forum.

The forum was the key and finishing action under the Year of tourism in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2014. During two days a number of actions took place at the forum: plenary session, memorandums and agreements signing, round table sessions "Unusual decisions in tourism promotion"; "Improvement of interregional transport logistics as one of tourism development factors", "Tourism without borders", "Preservation of heritage through tourism development".

Within the business program of the forum Alexey Markov the representative of KPI Holding made the "Creation of tourist clusters: emphasis on the territory uniqueness" report. Alexey Markov in his speech marked the amplifying interregional competition for external resources attraction, including tourist streams, and the increasing need in this regard to consider and develop unique advantages of regions.
